This “colorism” trope is their way of trying to play on the heartstrings of productive black men who are still foolish enough to play into the “black community” nonsense a.k.a those productive black men who still harbor some pro-black sentiments. Last I checked, dark skinned women who make up the majority are still dating and popping out babies with black men (who still deal with them), so what the fuck are they talking about?
If they have some type of inferiority complex about their skin tone, that’s their problem. I didn’t create them and I’m not obligated to make them feel better about themselves. Are they sympathetic towards balding or short black men?
No one owes them anything. Black men have done enough.
