Institutional Church Myths 3 – Using The Most High’s Name In Vain, The True, Correct Definition!

YET MORE INSTITUTIONAL CHURCH PROPAGANDA DECONSTRUCTED

image

This is yet another area of error of institutional church beast infrastructure propagation that warrants correction and you all know that Verbs is not afraid to tread there. “God” is not the name of the Most High Power, the word God is simply a title given to a being with abilities and strengths beyond that of normal men and women. The word “God” is a title that denotes power. As it currently stands today we have to be honest and admit that we have no idea what the true name of the Most High is. Therefore how can we possibly take “God’s name in vain” if we do not know what his true name is?

However there is a flip side to this issue, is there a possibility that the Most High was referring to a completely different form of ACTION when he talked about not taking his name in vain? I say that he was and I am going to give you clear examples of people who are really taking the Most High’s name in vain. Taking the Most High’s name or Christ’s name in vain is not down to cursing and swearing, it is down to the ACTIONS of individuals. Taking the name of the Most High in vain is simply using his title to benefit yourself.

Allow me to run some famous names past you and you will immediately understand what I am talking about:

Benny Hinn, Morris Cerrelo, Paula White, Creflo Dollar(which really means “create a flow of dollars”), “bishop Eddie Long”, TD Jakes, Jesse Duplantis, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, Matthew Ashimolowo, Paul Crouch, Robert Tilton, Todd Bentley, Juanita Bynum, Kenneth Copland, John Hagee, Mike Murdock etc.

I do not need to say anything more, with the above names you can figure it out for yourself what taking the Most High’s name in vain really means. No long lecture here, I am simply just prompting you to think and reason for yourself and encouraging you not to be afraid to step outside of the box and do so. Well known preachers such as Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron ought to respectfully readjust their definition of taking the Most High’s name in vain as to say that using the word “God” as a cuss word is taking his name in vain is so wrong and so in error.

However, as we already know with regards to the mentality of the institutional church beast infrastructure member with the inclusion of the pastors, the majority of them will still continue to push the same errors and propaganda until they hit the grave, even in the face of being proven wrong. They will talk about pride yet institutional church beast infrastructure members and pastors can be some of the most prideful people that you will come across. Where is this ratchet, out of joint explanation that the institutional church has created of taking the Most High’s name in vain contained within the scriptures???? Show it to me please?

The Deprogramming And Decontamination Process Continues

  1. Keep bringing the institutional church beast system down Brother Verbs. I totally understand what you’re saying because it really do make more sense in the way that you put it, because as you say how is he talking about using “God” in a curse word when that is not his actual name. Every name you mentioned above IS using his name in vain for gain. Always in my prayers.

    • Aja,

I remember in one of my ealier posts right when I started blogging in 2010, I compared the exercise of faith to that of a bungee jump and the Holy Spirit being the cord around the ankle. You literally must free fall but at the same time trust in the Most High through the Spirit.

This is very hard for the institutional church beast infrastructure member to do hence when you talk to them about a particular subject that their pastor has not previously debriefed them on or something they know nothing about, they will draw back into their shell and reset themselves to default. They literally believe that they are not allowed to make mistakes in their walk so they stay in the same spot all the days of their institutional church infrastructure lives, always afraid of stepping out and walk in boldness, strength and with courage.

Not me, I’m am so done with that mentality and lifestyle. It is time to encourage others to do the same in order for them to take their walks with the Most High to new levels, something that the institutional church beast infrastructure is very afraid of.

The correct definition of this particular term was in our faces all along, most of us simply trusted in what we were told and believed that the person informing us had researched the matter through thoroughly themselves. How wrong we were indeed.

  2. Two things that you wrote that are obviously incorrect. First: “God” is not the name of the Most High Power.” Second: “As it currently stands today we have to be honest and admit that we have no idea what the true name of the Most High is.”
How can a man that does not know God know the name of his God and then proceed to teach about the things of God. My friend it is apparent that you don’t know the name of God and you have testified about yourself that you don’t know God by saying you don’t know His name and the very name “God” that you have spoken you denounce as His name. It is a “name” of power and authority as you have so pointed out; for there is only One God.
Tell me something when you spell your name do you capitalize the first letter of your name, of course you do, because this is common in the case of a persons name. Open up your Bible to Genesis chapter 1 and tell me what is written in regards to Gods name. Did you see any “god” which denotes a title or did you see “God” which is the name that was written by the Holy Spirit through the hand of Moses to the One who created all things. In Hebrew His name would be אֱלֹהִים – ‘elohiym and in Greek it would be θεός – theos which was written by the prophets and apostles and has been translated to English as “God”. This is why we say, “God bless you”.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Now God has many names and they all have been written down. God is one name of many names that He has called Himself. In John 1:1-2 God has made known to us another one of His names, “Word”.

Now let me tell you the names of God according to God Himself.

Turn away from your sins and declare the name above all names and receive the promised Holy Spirit and be saved.

Philippians 2:5-11 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Act 4:11-12 Jesus is “ ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

    • Marc, those are all words God used to describe Himself. Those words describe who He is more and His character. I think Verbs is getting at this: in the Bible, God says to use His name over 70 times. The name associated with God is the Tetragrammaton. YHWH. We don’t know how to properly pronounce His name anymore. Yehovah, Yahovah, Yahweh, etc. “God” is a title.

      • Marc, do you believe that the scriptures were accurately translated from Hebrew to English? Also, do you think that Jesus is the true name of the Messiayah? Do you believe that there are two seeds on this earth, “man” and “mankind”? Do you believe that the true name of the Most High has been given or hidden from His children? And lastly, do you believe the people over in Jerusalem and in the state of Israel are the true children/descendants of the children of The Most High?
I just want to know what you think and where your mind is at about those questions. Feel free to use scriptures if you like but please do give an answer.

      • Elyse,

Tetragrammaton, now there is a name that will conveniently not be touched upon within the confines of these constructions of mental slavery called churches, as then people would start putting the pieces together and clock on rapidly to the fact that they have been buggered and hoodwinked. Couldn’t have constructed and summarised your paragraph better myself.

    • Marc,

O thou of much institutional church beast infrastructural knowledge, in your attempt to catch me in my words(yet again), you have merely proven me correct and vindicated my position as fact.

Firstly, there is no man on this planet that “knows” the Most High apart from Christ. You know about certain things of the Most High however you do not know the Most High, this getting to know him on a personal level is an ongoing process, most definitely in your case as you are continually clutching rigorously onto the teachings conveniently handed down to you by your monument of failure branch manager called a pastor. Whether it is “god” or “God” the meaning is still the same, it is a TITLE that denotes power beyond that of mortals, so no, this is not an denouncing of his name. Yet more institutional church beast infrastructure folly that must be deconstructed. I did forewarn you that your institutional church beast infrastructure teachings and doctrines will not fly here unchecked.

Moses got the closest to discovering the “name” of the Most High, I AM THAT I AM is the response that he received when he asked for a NAME, not a title but a name. The compendium you have listed here is simply a collection of TITLES. You are a man who speaks and uses the English language as part of your everyday life yet you clearly cannot identify the difference between a “name” and a “title”. Shame on you sir, shame on you.

So my point still stands, when the Most High instructs his people not to take his name in vain, being that the word “God” is merely a title that means “power”, how can we as mere mortals take his name in vain unless it denotes an action or actions involving using his title and character to benefit ourselves personally? You cannot deconstruct this position. Again, please stand aside sir and allow the true soldiers to teach the truth. I refuse the be limited by the institutional church beast infrastructure constructive architecture. I have been and am still being encouraged by the Most High to step out in faith and think outside of the box, and these are the positions I will continue to take.

  3. Marc,

I appreciate your sincerity, even by coming on this blog posting your honest feelings (although lacking sound understanding). If you are able to be as humble as you have been initially bold in your stances, I hope to edify you and not even by my own commentary, but through a passage. Other brothers and sisters have done that already.

    Titus 1:10-13 (King James Version)
“10 For there are many unruly and VAIN TALKERS and DECEIVERS, specially they of the circumcision:

11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.

12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, the Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;”

I know this passage needs no explanation, but I couldn’t help but to try and shed some light on the Bright Light of the Word. If people go around saying, “the Lord said sow a seed of 40$, or they use their authority given by the Messiah, to cast out demons and prophesy for their profit and to try and get the glory, they will be held accountable lest they repent. Ironically, it’s already been foretold that many (total opposite of REMNANT) will think they can fool our Messiah through their works, appearing to be righteous to fooled believers. They will have deceived themselves by having done it for profit all throughout their life (gaining the world and losing their sole).

    Matthew 7:20-23 (King James Version)
“20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

They (i.e. a lot of these pastors) prowl on the sheep because knowledge equals power. They have used the Scriptures to seduce and deceive many people for their gain, while not giving the flock what they need. It’s important for you and all of us to study to show our selves approved unto the Most High GOD (2 Timothy 2:15). This is an individual walk FIRST and then fellowship should be desired.

So in closing, sir, I hope you are able to open your mind and spirit (after testing mine and this message) to see that there is usually always room to deeper revelations by the Most High but we have to not rest our trust in mere men.

This is what Verbz and many other readers of this blog are trying to do; edify and exhort each other. And that’s why I love this blog. Verbz, keep speaking the Truth based on how you have been led by the Most High to speak it.

    Be blessed. Shalom.

  4. I really believe that the powers that be have ensured that the name of
the Most High is not known by His people. His people themselves don’t even know who they are, Deut 28 evidenced this.

I continue to seek The Most High in this very cluttered space filled with contaminated information. i honestly believe that I will be rewarded by diligently seeking the ultimate truth.
